Moor to See in Portugal

by in Europe

We made a day trip to Sintra, Portugal to see the Pena National Palace and the Castle of the Moors.  If you make it to Lisbon, I highly recommend seeing the castle, at least.

We made a short documentary. Maybe they will show it in the visitors’ center! If you like this, you should also check out our photos on Flickr.

We want MOOR videos like these. Especially enjoyed your use of the soundtrack to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Should have another one by the weekend for Porto. I figured the dedicated Monty Python fans would catch the musical reference.

I hope you guys drink lots and lots of green wine and port while in Portugal. Porto is fun. If you can make it to Casa das Ribas, it’s worth it. And I think €3 or so. Oh! And pastries. I’m sure you’ve found all this though.

Clark, is that your new hat in the video or was this video taken pre-hat loss?

That was a replacement hat, but I gave it away to a British guy a few days ago. I now have a very similar duckbill that I picked up in Coimbra. You can see it in the Coimbra flickr gallery.
